Navigating Mental Health & Community Resources
At Dr. Augustine Ramirez Intermediate School, our school counselors and site specialists are dedicated to fostering our students’ social-emotional well-being and managing immediate, school-based needs. It is important to note, however, that our on-campus services are short-term and educational in nature rather than clinical. Our team does not provide intensive therapy, psychiatric care, or clinical intervention. When a child requires deeper, professional-level therapeutic or medical support to navigate more complex mental health challenges, external community providers are the safest and most effective path forward.
To help families bridge this gap, our district partners with Care Solace, a complimentary and confidential care coordination service that quickly matches families with verified local therapists, counselors, and specialized programs based on your unique insurance and care needs. You will also find links below to a variety of other trusted community platforms and external medical providers. We highly encourage parents and guardians to utilize these tools, explore the options available, and conduct their own research to find the best possible clinical match for their child’s individual journey.
