The counseling department at Dr. Augustine Ramirez Intermediate School is dedicated to assisting students with their academic, social and emotional needs. Our counseling team is here to support students as they navigate their intermediate school experience and help prepare them for success in high school. Students can request to see a counselor by completing the counseling request forms posted throughout the campus. Additionally, parents and teachers may refer their student to see their school counselor by clicking on the links to the left. Our Mission and Vision:
The mission of the Dr. Augustine Ramirez Intermediate School counseling program is to ensure that students have tools and strategies to succeed in the academic, career, and personal/social domains. To help facilitate these skills, every student learns to be part of the PACK: Proactive, Accountable, Community-minded, and Kind.
Our counseling program is aligned with the National Counseling Standards administered by the American School Counseling Association (ASCA), We promote and implement essential programs that are data driven and promote academic, personal/social, and career exploration, so that every student may have a positive educational experience and is prepared for their future.
